The Next Chapter for Commercial Contractors Is Here
Announcing the first BuildOps Agents.

I’ve spent about fifteen years building software for the trades, and I learned something early: there’s no such thing as a typical day in this industry: every building, job, and business is different.
For a long time, software didn’t reflect that. It kept a record of your work. From that record, it told you what happened, and you looked back at it to make decisions about what to do next. That was valuable, but it was never enough.
Today we announced the first step toward something better: BuildOps Service Agents, and with them, a new era in commercial contracting.
Technology is moving faster than any of us has seen before. You shouldn’t get left behind by it, and you definitely shouldn’t get buried by it.
Contractors need a system that surfaces what matters and helps get the work done while it’s happening, not a record of what happened after the fact. You deserve a true system of action.
That’s the shift we’re making. Instead of software that waits for your people to find the problem, it’s software that finds it, does the research, and hands your team a recommendation. Your crew still makes the call; they just aren’t drowned in busy work getting to it.
Your people are the hardest thing to find, and the scarcest resource your business has. Every hour we give back to them matters. Agents are a multiplier for your team, so you can take on more work with the people you have today.
But agents are only as good as what’s underneath them. They need to run inside the system that already holds your jobs, contracts, and payments, so they know what to bill, what to chase, and what’s been paid. That’s why we spent the last few years bringing CRM, construction, and financials together on a single platform, and why this year we made the biggest investment we’ve ever made in its performance, stability, and scale.
When your phone rings at 2 AM, your system has to be there. A clean, fast, well-connected foundation is what makes agents that actually work possible.
We’re starting with service. Our first team of agents helps contractors find revenue that’s been missed, keeps jobs from stalling, and gets invoices out correct and fast. But service is only the beginning. The goal is simple: every role in your business should have an agent built for the job, on your data, and made for the trades.
Now, imagine your next 2am call. The schedule is in motion: the right tech, the right parts, the right truck are already being selected. Your customer knows what’s happening before they think to ask, and when the job is done, the invoice goes out and the books close clean.
You’ll still answer that call. You always will, but you won’t be answering it alone.
