Welcome BuildOps Service Agents: Revenue, Service Coordinator, and Billing
The agentic era in commercial contracting is here.

We’re introducing BuildOps Service Agents, a team of AI agents built into the BuildOps platform to help service contractors find missed revenue, keep jobs moving, and send accurate invoices
What are Service Agents?
Service Agents run inside BuildOps, the system that already holds your jobs, contracts, and payments. That means they know what to bill, what to chase, and what’s been paid. There are no separate systems to connect and nothing to build yourself. Agents surface recommendations and drafts, and your team reviews and makes the final call.
Revenue Agent
Revenue Agent finds the work that slips through the cracks:
- Issues technicians flagged that nobody acted on
- Jobs that were never quoted
- Quotes that went quiet
It then drafts the follow-up so your team can act quickly.
Service Coordinator Agent
Service Coordinator Agent reads every tech note and visit, identifies what’s stuck, and recommends how to get it moving. It also flags billable work hiding in those notes before it goes unbilled. Coordinators review the recommendations and make the call.
Billing Agent
Billing Agent applies each customer’s billing rules and builds the invoice, so billing doesn’t wait on someone finding the time. The result is invoices that go out right the first time and cash that comes in sooner.
What’s next
Service Agents take on the tasks that bury your office so your people can focus on the work only they can do. Shops on BuildOps average about five technicians for every person in the back office, and some already support nearly seven. Service Agents are built to help more shops get there.
Service Agents are the first in a growing set of BuildOps agents; we believe that every role in your business should eventually have an agent built for the job, on your data, and made for the work you do.
